Greek Fishing Boats

This nine-color linocut was printed from seven carved blocks. I saw these fishing boats moored less than 100 yards from the house of my son-in-law’s father in Karavastomo on the Greek Island of Ikaria. This is close to where Icarus, the son of Daedalus in Greek mythology fell into the sea.

There are 57 prints in this limited edition printed on 20"H x 16"W 100% cotton archival paper using top-quality, oil-based archival inks.
